Hyundai Motor and Aptiv intend to create a joint venture – Forex

Hyundai Motor and Aptiv announced the creation of a joint venture. It will carry out its activities in the field of driverless cars. The value of the joint venture is estimated at 4 billion dollars. The share of each company will be 50%. Under the terms of the agreement, Hyundai Motor is investing $2 billion in the new venture. There will be no investment on the part of Aptiv. However, the company will provide its technological developments in driverless driving and almost 700 highly skilled employees. From next year, the new JOINT venture will begin testing the system of driving offline. The planned work will begin in full from 2022. South Korean company Hyundai Motor ranks fourth in the list of the world's largest automakers. Aptiv was established two years ago in the process of separating Delphi Automotived. It is engaged exclusively in the field of autonomous driving cars.
