Juncker noted positive developments in London’s new Brexit proposals

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's published proposals to amend the text of the Brexit agreement focus on the Issue of the Irish Border, because, according to the head of the British Cabinet, it is he who is a stumbling block to a Brexit deal. He saw the solution to that issue in making the entire Irish island a single space for the movement of goods. According to the European media, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker pointed out that there are positive changes in Johnson's proposals, but at the same time there are also controversial issues. They still have work to do. Additional approvals again require the proposed changes in the insurance plan. As previously reported, the British Prime Minister stated that the proposed changes to the agreement were final. He said that if they are not supported by the European Commission, the UK will leave the European Union without an agreement.
